Why?

One of the most intriguing words:

“WHY?”

Shout of powerlessness.
Concern of heart.
Anxiety of ignorance.

WHY?

WHY am I sick?
WHY is not my husband so tender as twenty years ago?
WHY doesn’t my darling look at me as in the days of her youth?

WHY?

WHY don’t my kids go to church?
WHY do thousands of people spend a lot of time in pub and casinos and they do not want to spend it in a prayer?
WHY am I bored with taking the Bible in my hands and excited about such as stupid film?

WHY?

I’m not alone in asking “Why”.
Jesus asks:
WHY worry about clothing? (Mt 6:28)
WHY are you so frightened, you who have so little faith? (Mt 8:26)
WHY did you doubt? (Mt 14:31)
WHY are you upsetting the woman? (Mt 26:10)
My God, my God WHY have you forsaken me? (Mt 27:14)

One of the most intriguing words:

“WHY?”

It seems that God has given us the word “WHY?” only to use it in two ways:
1) to find the reason of the trouble and resolve the problem;
2) to learn confidence, because there are questions which will find the answer only in trust.

Ps. The use of this word to express desperation is not forbidden but inadvisable.
It doesn’t help.
